Liberte, Egalite, Serigrafite
04.05.2023 — 14.05.2023
Graphic Days Torino, Italy
The title of the exhibition paraphrases the slogan of the Great French Revolution "Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité!", where the last word is replaced by the neologism serigrafité. The latter understood as fraternization through art, specifically through serigraphy. A technique whose genesis lies in distant Japan and was established so that the artifacts of culture could reach more widely. To make the carrion of life more pleasant.
The exhibition "Liberté, Égalité, Serigrafité!" will feature 32 serigraphs, just a fragment of the screen-printing field that Warsaw-based studio Kwiaciarnia Grafiki has been cultivating for more than a decade. This narrow representation will show the multidimensionality of screen printing: from synthetic line to "de-painted" screens. From authorial expression, to works of importance. The only thing they have in common is the slogan: freedom, equality, serigraphy. The exhibition celebrates the power of technique, as well as the spirit of collaboration that emanates from the vast network of artists_women with whom Florist Graphics had/have the pleasure of working.
The exhibition "Liberté, Égalité, Serigrafite! " will feature the works of artists (m/w), such as: Arobal, Basia Bańda, Roland Barth, Mirella von Chrupek, Slawek ZBIOK Czajkowski, Rafał Dominik, Zosia Dzierżawska, Maurycy Gomulicki, Veronika Hapchenko, Marta Ignerska, Maria Kiesner, Vera King, Henryk Kwiatek, Marta Kwiatek, Stefan Paruch, Karol Radziszewski, Aleksandra Waliszewska, Mariusz M-CITY Waras, Rafał Wilk, Wiur, Marcin Zawicki.
